Taylor is a high-tech spin-off of Eindhoven University of Technology, located in the Brainport region. The company develops advanced electronics and software to maximize the yield of solar panels. Taylor works with manufacturers and installers and provides support through local service and support teams.

Cell String Optimization (CSO).

Taylor Cell String Optimizers (CSOs) optimize the yield of individual solar cells. This can produce up to 20% more energy compared to standard panels. Each cell string is controlled separately, providing:

• Higher energy yield in the event of shade or cell degradation
• Prevention of hotspots
• Automatic shutdown in the event of overheating for added safety

Application

Taylor provides CSO technology to solar panel manufacturers and gateways, and software solutions to installers. For example, optimized solar panels such as the DMEGC 370Wp feature integrated CSOs for maximum efficiency and safety.
