Product Description
Precipitation can cause standing water and dirt to accumulate along the lower edge and in the corners of the solar panel. The drainage clip ensures, through the law of communicating vessels, that the water and dirt is removed and does not remain in the edge and corners of the solar panel. Thus, dirt no longer accumulates and efficiency remains optimal.
The drainage clip is made of UV-resistant plastic and can withstand the temperature fluctuations that can occur on a roof. The drainage clip is easily clipped to the panel frame and works best as a pair. Place the clip on 1/3rd and 2/3rd of the PV panel.
The drainage clips can be applied to all Van der Valk Solar Systems mounting systems. The drainage clip is compatible with both existing and new mounting systems. The clip is most effective in situations where the inclination angle of the panel is between 10° and 20° degrees. This article (739013) can be used on panels with a thickness of 30-36 mm.
